Sand Bars Handcrafted, founded by Natalia Sandor, are handcrafted, locally sourced ice cream sandwiches made with her homemade chocolate chip cookie and simple ice cream flavors.

While working with Wiggin and Dana on a variety of legal services, Natalia was able to apply and obtain a trademark for the name Sand Bars Handcrafted. The firm also helped her with other business-related ­­questions she had and provided assistance regarding discontinuous and assumed name documentation. Natalia’s goal was to make herself feel more protected and safer as a business owner. 

“It helped my business become more protected, secured and established. This also allows me to lean on my trademark and use it as property that belongs to my business. This makes my business more valid, credible and increases its value. After working with Wiggin and Dana, I now have an operating S-Corp with an assumed name that is trademarked. This is a major success for me and my business, thanks to the help I received through this initiative. As a small business, I feel so thankful for the help I have received from the initiative and really hope to pay it back one day by giving to others who are just getting started,” said Sandor.
