Sustainable Planet LLC/Healthy PlanEat

Healthy PlanEat, founded by Rosemary Ostfeld, is an online marketplace where local farmers committed to sustainable growing practices and food artisans can sell directly to local customers. Farmers can upload inventory, set distribution options and manage incoming orders from individuals as well as wholesale buyers. Healthy PlanEat is committed to working with USDA Certified Organic and Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) Farmer’s Pledge farms. The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut recently awarded Healthy PlanEat Industry Innovator of the Year.

Wiggin and Dana worked with Rosemary to draft a non-disclosure agreement, contract and terms of service updates for her company’s website. With the assistance of the firm, Rosemary has been able to use these documents to hire contractors and now has the peace of mind that her business is protected.

Rosemary stated, “The legal assistance James Greifzu and his team at Wiggin and Dana have provided has been phenomenal and has helped my small business immensely. I’ve enjoyed working with everyone and am incredibly grateful for the time they’ve spent to help my small business grow and succeed.” Healthy PlanEat hopes to continue to increase access to fresh, sustainably grown, local food to allow people to have a healthy and sustainable diet.
