How State Enforcers and Representing Firms Contend with an Alleged Antitrust Violation

On April 2, 2024, Senior Counsel Robert M. Langer will join Rahul A. Darwar, Assistant Attorney General for the State of Connecticut – Office of the Attorney General to present “How State Enforcers and Representing Firms Contend with an Alleged Antitrust Violation” for the Connecticut Bar Association.

Bob and Rahul will discuss how state enforcers and representing firms interact when an alleged antitrust violation is present, what common mistakes potential antitrust violators make in their dealings, and what the best steps are for dealing with an alleged antitrust violation.

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Bob served as an Assistant Attorney General for five Connecticut Attorneys General, heading the combined Antitrust and Consumer Protection Department for most of his tenure in state service. Bob has also taught courses on antitrust law, federal and state unfair and deceptive trade practices, and constitutional law, as an adjunct professor, including UConn Law School (2014-present), Quinnipiac University School of Law (2021-present), and UConnโ€™s MBA Program (1979-2013).
