COVID-19 Webinar Series: U.S. Immigration & Compliance Considerations in the Wake of COVID-19
On May 1, 2020, Wiggin and Dana Partner and Director on the Board of the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut (SABAC) Najia S. Khalid will act as a panelist on The South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA) and SABAC’s joint COVID-19 Webinar Series on the topic of “U.S. Immigration & Compliance Considerations in the Wake of COVID-19.”
Najia will participate in a public discussion that will walk through the following Immigration issues: temporary bans on certain โgreen cardโ applicants abroad;ย compliance updates for H1B and F-1 visas; and changes to agency processing.ย There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask general questions.
Other panelists include Tejas Shah, an immigration law partner at Barnes & Thornburg, LLP, and VP Community Outreach of the SABA; and Nandita Ruchandani, founder and immigration lawyer at the Law Offices of Nandita Ruchandani and VP and Director on the Board of the SABAC.
