Adam Cohen is an Associate in the Corporate Department in the firm’s New York office and a member of wiggin(x).
Adam advises emerging companies through every stage of growth from formation and early structuring to fundraising, governance, and strategic decision making. He works with clients across a range of sectors, including fintech, cleantech, data analytics, health and wellness, life sciences, sustainable business, fashion and the arts. He also regularly counsels venture capital investors on equity and convertible debt financings.
Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Adam practiced at a global law firm in New York City, where he supported startups and investors on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. He also worked at a boutique firm, where he collaborated closely with founders and served as outside general counsel, advising on day to day operations and governance without losing sight of the big picture.
Adam earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as a Staff Editor for the Journal of Law and Business and participated in the Business Transactions Clinic. He received his B.A. in History, summa cum laude, from Brandeis University.
