Madiha M. Malik is an Associate in Wiggin and Danaโs Health Care Department, focusing on regulatory and transactional matters.
Madiha regularly counsels long-term care, post-acute care, behavioral health, and other health care providers in a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and risk management issues. Madiha also frequently advises health care providers on facility licensing and changes of ownership. She has extensive experience representing providers before the Connecticut Department of Public Health, Department of Social Services, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
Madiha has been recognized as a New Leader in the Law by the Connecticut Law Tribune in 2022 and by Best Lawyers in America as Ones to Watch since 2021.
Madiha earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Connecticut Law Review and Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Pro Se Student Newspaper. Madiha received her B.A. from The George Washington University with a dual degree in Journalism and International Affairs.
