Counsel Seth Greenstein and Associate Jacqueline Yuan to Present on Corporate Law as part of Inaugural Refugee Entrepreneurship Program
On October 4th, Wiggin and Dana Counsel and member of the firmโs Corporate Practice,ย Seth Greenstein, along with Associate,ย Jacqueline Yuan, will partner with Schmidt Futures,ย a philanthropy founded by former Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, for a program designed for aspiring refugee entrepreneurs. ย As part of this effort, the inaugural โRefugee Entrepreneurship Programโ will select four refugees and place them for a seven-week immersive accelerator program at Antler. ย Seth Greenstein and Jacqueline will discuss start-up and corporate law considerations for foreign entrepreneurs, selecting the right entity type when starting a business in the U.S., developing standardized contracts with customers and clients, and other legal and corporate governance considerations when establishing a presence and raising capital in the U.S.
