Critical Regulatory Updates for Sharing Sensitive Data
On September 30, 2024, Partner Jody Erdfarb will co-present โCritical Regulatory Updates for Sharing Sensitive Dataโ for the Connecticut Hospital Association.
Jody and her co-presenter will provide a nuts and bolts review of the new finalized federal regulations regarding 42 CFR Part 2 on SUD patient records and the HIPAA amendments to support reproductive health care privacy. The presentation will also include a discussion of the recent legal challenges to the OCR guidance on third party website tracking technology and the legislative changes to the Connecticut Statewide Health Information Exchange (Connie) statutes.
