This is a detailed seminar on various estate planning techniques, with an emphasis on avoiding gift and estate taxes and maximizing lifetime wealth. There will be an in-depth review of federal and state tax laws, wills, trusts, living wills, living trusts, planning for incapacity, and the coordination of retirement assets and life insurance with the rest of one's estate planning. Recent tax law changes will be discussed as well as why estate planning remains necessary. Case studies will be included.
