Julie Min Chayet will be teaching an estate planning course through the Wilton continuing education program, beginning April 17.

The course will run 3 consecutive Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and will focus on various estate planning techniques, with an emphasis on avoiding gift and estate taxes and maximizing lifetime wealth. There will be an in-depth review of federal and state tax laws, wills, trusts, living wills, living trusts, planning for incapacity, and the coordination of retirement assets and life insurance with the rest of one’s estate planning. There will be discussion of the new tax law and why estate planning remains necessary.
