International Trade Partners Attend Connecticut-Israel Innovations Showcase
Jim Glasser and Tahlia Townsend attended the 2016 Connecticut-Israel Innovations Showcase held on May 11, 2016 at the Infinity Music Hall and Bistro in Hartford. Wiggin and Dana also had a table at the event to talk to attendees about our work in Israel and with Israeli companies. The 2016 Connecticut-Israel Innovations Showcase featured leading-edge Israeli companies whose work dovetails with Connecticut's major industries. Brief presentations were followed by an opportunity to meet the presenters and uncover synergies, customer opportunities and investment possibilities.
About the Connecticut-Israel Partnership
Since 2011, the MetroHartford Alliance's International Business Council, the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and the Connecticut Economic Resource Center have collaborated to strengthen Connecticut's relationship with Israel, fostering business and cultural relationships. Israel is an innovation giant: with just over 8 million people, it has an estimated 4,800 startups. Israel is the largest U.S. export market in the Middle East among high-tech and pro-American business communities.
