Keeping Privacy in Clinical Trials: Legal and Practical Aspects

Wiggin and Dana attorneys, Michelle DeBarge and Jody Erdfarb, will be presenting at a CTrials conference titled, “Keeping Privacy in Clinical Trials – Legal and Practical Aspects,” at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel on November 1, 2018. CTrials is the Israeli association for the advancement of the biomedical research community.

This conference will cover the legal and practical aspects of patient privacy in clinical trials. Michelle and Jody will conduct a session titled, “HIPAA and Clinical Trials: What You Need to Know,” providing background information on HIPAA, explaining who needs to be HIPAA compliant, and setting forth special considerations for HIPAA’s application in the clinical trial setting.
