A panel discussion covering significant issues that the general practitioner and corporate counsel should be aware of in the areas of patent, trademark and copyright law. The focus will be on identifying and resolving intellectual property (IP) issues that you may encounter in your everyday practice. IP issues may arise when you are handling matters such as counseling a start up business, new product clearances, a merger and acquisition project, or when your client hires freelancers or is looking to purchase artwork, designs, software and other works of authorship. We will also discuss the handling of patent, copyright, domain name and trademark infringement cases and related conflicts.
