Carolyn Reers Joins Wiggin and Dana as Partner in the Private Client Services Group

Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce that Carolyn Reers has joined the firm as a Private Client Services Partner in the Greenwich and New York offices. Ms. Reers has more than 25 years of experience representing and servicing affluent individuals, their closely held companies and family offices with a focus on international estate and tax planning. “We are thrilled to grow the Private Client Services practice with the addition of Carolyn, who is an exceptional lawyer and well regarded in her field,” said Len Leader, Chair of Wiggin and Dana’s Private Client Services Department. “We have a large, sophisticated practice throughout Connecticut, New York and Florida and her arrival enhances our ability to deliver the best possible legal services to our clients.”

Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Ms. Reers was a Partner at a leading international law firm, where she was integral in all aspects of trust and estate planning and administration. She was also responsible for the creation and management of public charities and private foundations.

Previously, Ms. Reers was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she was primarily a Wealth Advisor for affluent clients and family offices. She maintained a focus on the firm’s largest hedge fund principal clients and prospects, CEOs of public and private companies and international families. “Carolyn is a leading Private Client Services attorney with a national and international reputation and an impressive client base. Ms. Reers graduated from Boston College, summa cum laude, and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University.
