New Haven – Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce that the firm's Private Client Services practice and its partner, Dan Daniels, have been ranked in the first edition of the annual Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) 2016 Guide.
Wiggin and Dana Partner Dan Daniels, was ranked as a "Band 1" (top band) practitioner in the Private Wealth Law category. Only six private wealth lawyers in Connecticut were awarded this designation. The firm's Private Client Services group as a whole was also highly ranked in the Guide's Private Wealth Law category.
Chambers private wealth researchers conducted several client interviews. One interviewee said this about Wiggin and Dana: "Their strongest attributes are creativity and they have a great deal of expertise in the wealth management area."
And when speaking about Mr. Daniels, one source said: "Of the handful of lawyers I've worked with in the estate planning market I think Dan is the best and strongest. On the estate planning side he is tops, he's as good as it gets." Another described him as "one of the smartest lawyers who makes the most complicated things easy to understand. He's brilliant at knowing everything there is to know about estate tax."
Chambers and Partners has dedicated the last 25 years to researching and ranking the world's best lawyers and has now launched the Chambers HNW guide – their first publication specifically aimed at the international private wealth market. The guide will be used by family offices and professional advisers to wealthy individuals, providing objective guidance on an international scale, making Chambers HNW a key reference point for such a mobile market.
The Chambers HNW rankings and editorial was derived from independent research conducted by a dedicated team of private wealth researchers. The team interviewed hundreds of lawyers, family offices, accountancy professionals, tax advisers, bankers, investment managers and high-end real estate agents to get a comprehensive understanding of the private wealth sector in each of the jurisdictions covered.
