David Ring Was Quoted in Export Compliance Manager News Issue 25

David Ring was quoted in Export Compliance Manager news issue 25. The article entitled, “Monitor the Monitor, says news agencies,” discusses the appointment of monitors in wake of the ZTE case and how this may affect companies’ decision to enter a prosecution agreement involving a monitor. David stated, “From a company’s perspective, deciding whether to enter a consent or deferred prosecution agreement involving a monitor will be a much tougher decision in the wake of ZTE. Companies will need some assurance that the monitor’s scope of work will be rationally constrained and the monitor well suited for the work.”
