First Attorney from Connecticut in 87-year History of New York Intellectual Property Law Association as its President-Elect

Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce Dale L. Carlson was installed as President-Elect of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA) for the 2009-2010 term at the Association's annual meeting at the University Club in Manhattan. Dale's installment as President-Elect is a first in the 87-year history of the NYIPLA for a Connecticut attorney to be given this leadership position. Dale, a partner at Wiggin and Dana, is chair of the firm's Patent Practice Group. He also serves on the board of the Gateway Community College Foundation, and is an adjunct professor of patent law at Quinnipiac University School of Law.
