Michael Menapace Elected to Hartford County Bar Association Leadership
Hartford – Wiggin and Dana attorney Michael Menapace has been elected as an officer of the Hartford County Bar Association (HCBA) and will serve as the secretary, treasurer, president-elect and president over the next four years, respectively. He was installed as an officer at the HCBA's Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The HCBA is a voluntary not-for-profit association of lawyers and judges in Hartford County, dedicated to promoting public service and furthering the principles of law and justice.
Michael is a member of Wiggin and Dana's Litigation Department in the Hartford and New York offices. Michael is a litigator, advisor and law school professor. He represents clients before state and federal courts in commercial litigation, including a wide array of insurance and reinsurance matters, as well as in arbitrations across the country. He advises insurers on policy construction, coverage, and regulatory issues and a variety of clients on data protection and privacy issues. Michael is a frequent speaker on insurance law and cyber security topics and teaches insurance law at the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
