The combined entity, with 155 attorneys, will still be called Wiggin & Dana. Howe & Addington's partners, associates and staff will join Wiggin & Dana, and will continue to practice from their offices in New York.

Wiggin & Dana Merging With Howe & Addington

Wiggin & Dana LLP, a law firm with offices in Hartford, Stamford and New Haven, agreed Wednesday to merge with the New York firm of Howe & Addington LLP.

 

The new firm will have 155 employees. Howe & Addington will take the Wiggin & Dana name and become the base for the Connecticut firm's New York operations. Wiggin & Dana, founded in 1934, has headquarters in New Haven and an office in Philadelphia that opened in 2001.

 

Wiggin & Dana – which added five employees through its addition of Howe & Addington – will continue to practice law pertaining to real estate, income taxes, estate planning, litigation, the environment, employment and intellectual property.

NEW HAVEN โ€” The law firm of Wiggin & Dana LLP announced Wednesday a merger with Howe & Addington LLP in New York City.

 

All of Howe & Addingtonโ€™s partners and staff members will join Wiggin & Dana and will continue to practice at 450 Lexington Ave.

 

Wiggin & Dana will now have 155 lawyers in offices in New Haven, Hartford, Stamford, Philadelphia and New York. It was founded in New Haven in 1934.

New Haven, Conn-based Wiggin & Dana has acquired Howe & Addington, a six-lawyer New York firm specializing in real estate, estate planning and litigation.  The move adds four partners to Wiggin & Dana's New York office: Robert W.
