Paul discusses the impact of Donald Trumpโs re-election on the federal corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Paul explains that the U.S. attorney moving to dismiss a case post-indictment is simply not done unless there is a material change in the evidence or case law that would prevent prosecutors from securing a conviction. He is quoted, โYou want people to plead guilty, otherwise you shouldnโt have indicted them in the first place.โ
