Sapna Palla Joins Wiggin and Dana

New York – Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce the expansion of its Intellectual Property Practice with the addition of Sapna Palla as a partner in the firm's New York office.

Sapna focuses her practice on the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, drug delivery systems and medical devices, with an emphasis on Hatch-Waxman patent infringement cases for branded pharmaceutical manufacturers and on the emerging patent litigation system in India.

Sapna counsels domestic and international clients on U.S. intellectual property law by providing them with infringement, validity, enforceability and clearance opinions. She also advises clients on licensing and antitrust matters, conducts intellectual property due diligence investigations in connection with acquisitions and licensing deals, and prepares responses and amendments to office actions, appeal briefs, and reexamination briefs for submission to the United States Patent Office.

Sapna earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Pace University School of Law. She received her B.B.A, magna cum laude, in International Management with a Pre-Medical Concentration from Pace University.
