Wiggin and Dana is proud to recognize two of our partners who received prestigious awards from the Connecticut Law Tribune as leaders in their respective legal practices.

Partner Jonathan Freiman has been named the Connecticut Law Tribune's 2016 Attorney of the Year. Jonathan was chosen for this honor out of four finalists. The four finalists were chosen from a pool of entries submitted by various law firms, law schools, governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations. Other candidates were suggested by members of the Connecticut Law Tribune's Editorial Board and considered by our panel of judges. Freiman was honored, in part, for his major insurance law victories last year from coast-to-coast and in Connecticut, as well as his victory on behalf of Yale University in the case involving the disputed van Gogh painting. Partner Bill Perrone was awarded the Connecticut Law Tribune's 2016 Professional Excellence Award. The award honors attorneys with 30 or more years of experience who have made substantial contributions during their careers to law firms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, corporations, law schools and the judiciary, and to the practice of law in general. Bill has a broad range of experience and has contributed to the legal profession in may ways over the course of his career. For more information on Bill and his award recognition, click here.
