Wiggin and Dana Announces Attorney Promotions

New Haven – Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce three new Partners effective January 1, 2015.

Jenny Chou is a Partner in the firm's Litigation Department and White Collar Defense, Government Investigations and Corporate Compliance practice group. Jenny advises and represents individuals and entities in state and federal proceedings involving allegations of securities violations, false claims, and other regulatory matters. Jenny has experience in conducting internal investigations for a wide range of clients, from local companies to multi-national corporations. She also maintains an active civil litigation practice, including class action, contract, and commercial disputes.

Helen Heintz is a Partner in the firm's Private Client Services Department. She advises clients in connection with tax-efficient estate, gift and income tax planning, and negotiates and structures prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Helen also advises clients regarding all aspects of trust and estate administration, including taxation and fiduciary law, and routinely represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries before the New York Surrogate's Courts and Connecticut Probate Courts in a variety of matters, including probate proceedings, fiduciary appointments and removal, guardianship proceedings, accounting proceedings and contested matters.

Evan Kipperman is a Partner in the firm's Corporate Department. He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing, securities transactions, licensing arrangements and general corporate matters. Evan advises a broad range of clients, including early stage companies, publicly held middle-market companies and private equity firms. He regularly serves as outside general counsel for privately held companies at various stages of development.
