Wiggin and Dana Associates Appointed Visiting Clinical Lecturers in Law at Yale Law School
Wiggin and Dana associates Benjamin Daniels and Tadhg Dooley have been appointed Visiting Clinical Lecturers in Law at Yale Law School, where they will oversee the Appellate Litigation Project this academic year.
Daniels and Dooley will supervise and guide students as they brief and argue appeals on behalf of formerly pro se appellants before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. This term's cases, assigned through the Second Circuit's Pro Bono Panel, involve issues of immigration law, due process, religious rights, and prisoners' rights.
The course also includes a seminar component, in which Daniels and Dooley will instruct students on principles of appellate law and practice, including concepts such as standards of review, preservation of issues, and presenting a winning narrative in brief-writing and oral argument.
