Wiggin and Dana LLP is pleased to announce that Vasiliki (Vasi) Yiannoulis-Riva has joined the firm as a Partner in the Real Estate, Environmental, Construction and Facilities Department, based in both the Stamford, CT and New York, NY offices. Vasi brings more than a decade of experience advising clients on commercial real estate transactions, leasing, and corporate matters.

Vasi specializes in representing clients in the sale, acquisition, leasing, and financing of commercial real estate. Her practice includes advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals on real estate investments, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing arrangements, as well as representing high-end hospitality clients, retailers, and restaurants in the leasing and acquisition of retail and hospitality spaces in New York and across the country.

“Vasi’s experience across a wide range of real estate matters strengthens our capabilities and supports the growth of our real estate practice,” said Tim Diemand, Managing Partner of Wiggin and Dana. “Her background and experience will be an immediate asset to the real estate group.”

Ms. Yiannoulis-Riva is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She earned her undergraduate degree in Government, cum laude, from Harvard University and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She began her legal career as a Legal Fellow in the U.S. Senate before entering private practice. Most recently, Vasi was with Polsinelli, and prior to that, she practiced at Withersworldwide, where she focused on commercial real estate and leasing.
