Wiggin and Dana Hosts Book Launch Reception

July 8, 2014

Philadelphia – Wiggin and Dana and Simon & Shuster will be hosting a book launch and cocktail reception to celebrate the newly released book, Operation Shakespeare: The True Story of an Elite International Sting. The reception will take place on Tuesday, July 8th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia. C-SPAN will be taping the event for a future broadcast.

Operation Shakespeare, authored by former Philadelphia Inquirer reporter John Shiffman, presents the narrative of an elite undercover Homeland Security unit created to stop foreign adversaries from acquiring sophisticated American-made weapons and technology. The book is a true account of the covert effort to safeguard national security, and features Wiggin and Dana Partner David Hall for his involvement in the investigation and prosecution of an Iranian arms dealer while serving as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Department of Justice. David recently retired from the Department of Justice after 23 years of service, and has also retired from the United States Navy Reserve with the rank of Captain.

David is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Philadelphia office and is a member of the firm's Litigation Department. He represents corporations and individuals in complex civil litigation and in investigations and prosecutions conducted by the Department of Justice, the Commerce Department, the State Department, the Treasury Department, and other federal and state agencies. David conducts internal investigations and ensures corporate compliance for companies, including those in the defense, financial, and health care industries.
