Wiggin and Dana Hosts Diversity and You!
Panel Discussion Related to Corporate Diversity and Law Firms
New Haven - The Wiggin and Dana Diversity Committee recently hosted Diversity and You!, a panel-discussion program about the collaboration between corporations and law firms in connection with diversity efforts. The program was held at Wiggin and Dana for all firm attorneys.
"Corporations have been making great strides in ensuring diversity within their ranks," commented Mary Gambardella, Partner and Co-Chair of the firm's Diversity Committee. "This program is designed to provide insight directly from corporate counsel and diversity directors about how diversity relates to their working with outside law firms."
Moderated by Ms. Gambardella, the panelists were Bill Aseltyne, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Yale-New Haven Hospital/Yale New Haven Health Systems; Mary Ellen Lachowicz, Senior Counsel at Xerox Corporation; Natalie Holder-Winfield, an employment attorney and founder of QUEST Diversity Initiatives, LLC , and currently Compliance Manager for Diageo; and Tracy Casey, Director of Diversity at Aetna.
