The Wiggin and Dana Intellectual Property group is pleased to announce the promotion of Benjamin Diessel to Partner, effective January 1, 2019.
Ben is an experienced litigator with a technical background in computer engineering, who has devoted his practice to helping clients navigate a broad range of complex legal issues, including patent litigation, antitrust, and intellectual property licensing. Ben has substantial experience with damage and antitrust issues surrounding standards essential patents (SEPs) and FRAND licensing requirements. Ben has successfully developed and executed strategies in coordination with clients, experts, and consultants in complex matters involving significant monetary stakes for companies such as Qualcomm and Panasonic.
With Ben as a Partner, our IP group is deep with respect to SEPs, FRAND, antitrust, and other intricate IP issues.
