Wiggin and Dana Partner Jonathan Freiman was featured in a February 10, 2015 Connecticut Law Tribune article titled, "Attorneys Head Conn. Group that Monitors Iran Human Rights Abuses." The article profiles the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, a New Haven-based organization that is devoted to documenting human rights abuses in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Center's reports are posted online to assist policymakers, students and lawyers from around the world.

Freiman, whose practice has included representation of sovereign nations and former government officials, is a longtime board member of the Center. In the article, Freiman discusses the features and strengths of the Center, commenting that the Center stands out for the "extremely high quality" of work it does on a shoestring budget.
