Wiggin and Dana Partner Recognized for Ten Years of Teaching

Wiggin and Dana is pleased to announce that Dale L. Carlson, Partner and Chair of the firm's Patent Prosecution Practice Group, was recognized by Quinnipiac University at a campus ceremony held on April 27, 2010 for his ten years of teaching as an Adjunct Professor at their School of Law. The University is located in Hamden, Connecticut.

Dale began teaching an IP course at Quinnipiac in 2000. He currently teaches Patents and Advanced Patent courses.

Dale's education includes an LL.M. in trade regulation from NYU School of Law, a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.S. and M.B.A. from SUNY at Buffalo. Dale writes and lectures frequently on patent matters.

Dale's practice at the firm includes patent preparation and prosecution, counseling and licensing in the fields of chemistry and chemical engineering.

Dale is the incoming President of the NYIPLA, our nation's largest regional IP law association. He is also a member of Board of Directors of the Gateway Community College Foundation in New Haven, Connecticut.
