Wiggin and Dana Represents The Taunton Press in its Sale to Active Interest Media

Wiggin and Dana LLP represented The Taunton Press, a respected consumer media and book business, based in Newtown, CT in its sale to Active Interest Media (AIM), a leading enthusiast media company. The transaction was announced on December 4, 2023, furthering AIM’s reach and influence across gardening, woodworking and homebuilding. Both companies share a dedication to producing high-quality information and an enthusiasm for hands-on living. The deal will provide a strong foundation for the next generation of Taunton’s growth and the combined organization will provide new opportunities for their employees. The Wiggin and Dana team was led by Partners James Greifzu and Frank Duffin.
