Wiggin and Dana Welcomes New Health Care Partner Kristina Wesch in New York
Wiggin and Dana is excited to announce that Kristina M. Wesch has joined the firm as a partner in the New York office.
Wesch joins Wiggin and Dana as a partner in the firmโs Health Care Department, focusing her practice on health care transactions.ย She will also advise clients within the health care industry on bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring and reorganization matters.
โKristinaโs comprehensive knowledge of health care law and extensive experience representing health care industry clients in transactions as well as distressed situations will uniquely benefit Wigginโs clients,โ said Maureen Weaver, who chairs the firmโs Health Care Practice Group.
Wesch regularly represents for-profit and not-for-profit health care organizations, including hospitals, long-term care and senior living providers and other health-related businesses in mergers, acquisitions and affiliations.ย Her extensive bankruptcy and restructuring experience in the health care sector adds value and perspective for clients navigating distressed situations.ย Wesch also advises not-for-profit boards of directors and officers on fiduciary duties and best practices. Before joining Wiggin and Dana as a partner, Wesch was a partner at Herrick Feinstein, where she led the firmโs health care transactions practice.

Wesch earned her J.D. from St. Johnโs University School of Law and her B.A. from CUNY Queens College. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute the American Bar Associationโs Health Law Section, and American Health Lawyers Association.
