Ashley Moore is an Associate based in the New Haven office. She is an accomplished attorney with several years of experience advising clients at the intersection of business immigration and corporate/employment law. She specializes in workforce management, compliance, and risk mitigation, delivering practical, business-focused solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks.
Ashley represents employers in securing global talent across multiple non-immigrant and immigrant visa categories (e.g., H, E, L, O, P, TN, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, NIW, etc.) and counsels business stakeholders regarding dual nationality, adjustment of status, and naturalization. Ashley also guides companies through I-9 compliance audits, anti-discrimination reviews, and due diligence during mergers and acquisitions. She has developed onboarding and sponsorship policies to support global mobility strategies for employers.
Ashley earned her J.D. and LL.M. in Negotiation & Dispute Resolution from Washington University School of Law, where she received multiple CALI Excellence Awards and merit-based scholarships. She also holds an M.A. in Human Rights from Central European University and a B.A. in Anthropology and Italian Studies from the University of New Hampshire.
Ashley is a Rising Star in Immigration Law (Super Lawyers, 2025) and a Go-To Thought Leader in Immigration Regulation (National Law Review, 2020). She frequently speaks on immigration strategies for entrepreneurs and compliance for startups.
Beyond her legal practice, Ashley serves as Secretary of the Board for CitySeed, Inc. and previously co-chaired the AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) Connecticut Chapterโs Customs and Border Protection Committee. She is proficient in Italian and passionate about advancing inclusive workforce policies.
