2025 Summary of Key Connecticut Legislation Relating to Providers of Services to the Elderly

September 12, 2025

Each year, Wiggin and Dana and LeadingAge Connecticut collaborate to produce a comprehensive summary of new Connecticut laws affecting providers of services for the elderly. The 2025 Legislative Summary reports on a number of new legislative requirements affecting nursing homes, assisted living communities, residential care homes, home health care and hospice agencies, senior housing and other home and community-based services, hospitals, and telehealth providers, as well as individual practitioners. Wiggin and Danaโ€™s Health Care Practice Group Partner, Jody Erdfarb, Special Counsel, Maureen Weaver and Associates, Madiha Malik and Mia Gratacos-Atterberry, led the effort to publish this yearโ€™s Legislative Summary. A special thanks to the authors, Wiggin and Danaโ€™s 2025 Summer Associates: Despina Topalis, Mia Carbone, Samantha Crone, Tracy Cui, Olivia Ventura, Derek Wang and Dana Abigail White.
