Robert Raskopf Joins Wiggin and Dana’s Intellectual Property Practice as Special Counsel in the New York Office
Wiggin and Dana LLP is pleased to announce that Robert Raskopf has joined the firm as Special Counsel in its Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Mr. Raskopf is a widely respected trial and appellate lawyer with extensive experience in intellectual property, media, sports, entertainment, and privacy matters. His practice spans trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, false advertising, copyright, defamation, trade libel, First Amendment issues, privacy and publicity rights, and access to courts and governmental proceedings. He has litigated complex disputes through trial and appeal in state and federal courts nationwide and has served as counsel of record in more than 100 reported decisions.

Mr. Raskopf earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his B.S. from Boston College. He has served on the Boston College Law School Alumni Board, the Board of Directors of the United States Anti‑Doping Agency, and the Lawyers Committee of The New York Public Library. He is a founding member of the Federal Bar Council Intellectual Property Committee and is a frequent writer and lecturer on intellectual property, media, and First Amendment issues.
