Wiggin and Dana Welcomes Kenley Stark as Counsel in Private Client Services, Enhancing Art and Museum Law Practice

May 11, 2026

We are pleased to share that Kenley Stark has joined Wiggin and Dana as Counsel in our Private Client Services Department, adding significant experience in art and cultural property matters and further enhancing the firm’s Chambers-recognized and Legal 500 Art and Museum Law Practice Group.

Kenley works with individuals, families, and fiduciaries on sophisticated planning needs that often involve valuable and complex holdings. She brings deep experience in art and cultural property matters and will work closely with the firm’s Art and Museum Law Practice Group to advise high‑net‑worth collectors, artists, and art market professionals on transactions, regulatory and tax considerations, and legacy planning involving fine art and collectibles.

“Kenley’s experience advising on art and cultural property matters is an exciting addition for our clients, particularly where art intersects with estate planning, fiduciary administration, and tax,” said Michael Clear, Chair of the Private Client Services Department. “We’re thrilled to welcome her to our Private Client Services team and to further strengthen the firm’s art-related capabilities through close collaboration with our Art and Museum Law Practice Group.”

Kenley advises on acquisitions and dispositions, consignments, commissions, loans, and advisory arrangements, and negotiates agreements supporting art purchases, exhibition loans, gallery and auction relationships, leases, sales, and gifts. She also structures charitable and non‑charitable transfers of art, including museum loans, promised gifts, and private foundation planning, and counsels on collection governance and long‑term stewardship. Her work addresses practical and compliance issues that accompany significant collections, including sales and use tax, AML considerations, insurance, conservation, and collection logistics.

Her addition further strengthens the firm’s Private Client Services offerings for clients and fiduciaries with significant art and cultural assets and supports the continued growth of the firm’s Art and Museum Law capabilities.
