In litigation matters, our Chambers USA nationally ranked team has successfully resolved – by jury and bench trial, appeals, arbitration, mediation, and private negotiation – cases involving accidents and commercial disputes throughout the United States and abroad. We have also counseled and assisted aviation clients with investigations and the successful resolution of claims pre-litigation.
The litigation team is complemented well by its International Trade Compliance (ITC) Group, which is a go-to resource for aerospace companies facing criminal or civil government enforcement actions for violation of U.S. export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions. Our practice is known for prompt, incisive, practical, and efficient advice based on years of hands-on experience working with many of the world’s largest aviation companies and aerospace and defense contractors, including serving as government-appointed Special Compliance Officers (monitors) for aerospace companies subject to consent agreements.
