Toby is Counsel in Wiggin and Dana’s Corporate Department and is a member of the Life Sciences Practice Group.
Before becoming counsel at the firm, Toby served as Research and Development Counsel at a large market capitalization biotechnology company focusing on rare and devastating diseases. He served as legal counsel for the business’ global Research, Development, and Medical Affairs organizations, providing advice and counsel, strategic guidance, and legal document drafting and negotiation. Earlier in his career, Toby was an associate at Wiggin and Dana and focused on business transactions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, including intellectual property transfers, licensing, research, collaboration, clinical trial, commercialization, supply, and distribution agreements.
Toby received a J.D. from Boston College Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review. He received his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame with a dual-degree in Science Preprofessional Studies and Philosophy.
